FAA Adopts Airworthiness Directive for Airbus A320 Family Aircraft

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued an airworthiness directive (AD) requiring the removal of Kathon FP 1.5 biocide from fuel tanks and engines of certain Airbus A320 family aircraft, following a report that the additive can cause engine performance degradation.
