FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH Model MBB-BK 117 D-2 Helicopters

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive for Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH Model MBB-BK 117 D-2 helicopters to address an unsafe condition related to an erroneous low rotor revolutions per minute (RPM) indication after establishing a one engine inoperative (OEI) condition.
