UPS Seeks Reconsideration of Denial of Application for Exemption from Entry-Level Driver Training Requirements

United Parcel Service, Inc. (UPS) is requesting the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) to reconsider its denial of an application for exemption from the two-year experience requirement for training instructors under the Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) final rule, citing concerns that the current process exceeds the skill set gained from operating a tractor-trailer for two years.
