Pipeline Safety: Overpressure Protection on Low-Pressure Natural Gas Distribution Systems

The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) is issuing an advisory bulletin to remind natural gas distribution pipeline owners and operators of the risk of failure due to overpressurization on low-pressure systems, and to remind them of existing federal integrity management regulations for gas distribution systems.
