EPA Deletes Eight Sites, Partially Deletes Nine from Superfund National Priorities List

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has removed eight contaminated sites and partially removed nine more from the Superfund National Priorities List (NPL), a list created under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) of 1980, following completion of response actions under the law.
