US Proposes 2021-22 Harvest Specifications for Pacific Coast Groundfish Fishery
The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has proposed new rules to establish catch limits for groundfish off the coasts of Washington, Oregon, and California, in line with the Magnuson-Stevens Act and the Pacific Coast Groundfish Fishery Management Plan, with the goal of preventing overfishing and rebuilding depleted stocks.
