ECA Liquefaction Seeks Extension of LNG Export Authorization to Non-Free Trade Agreement Countries Through 2050

ECA Liquefaction, a Mexican company, has submitted an application to the US Department of Energy's Office of Fossil Energy to extend its authorization to export liquefied natural gas (LNG) to non-free trade agreement countries until December 31, 2050. The application was filed on September 18, 2020, and the public is invited to submit written comments on the proposed extension.
