FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for Airbus Helicopters Model 117 Helicopters

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH's Model 117 helicopters to address an unsafe condition related to the adhesive seal on the doors, which prevents proper jettisoning, and requires modifications to the Rotorcraft Flight Manual.
