FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 and Trent 7000 Engines

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has adopted a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Rolls-Royce Deutschland Ltd & Co KG (RRD) Trent 1000 and Trent 7000 turbofan engines, following a report of crack findings in the front air seal on the intermediate-pressure compressor shaft assembly.
