U.S. Department of Energy Amends Record of Decision for Elemental Mercury Storage

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is issuing an amended record of decision to withdraw Waste Control Specialists (WCS) as the primary facility for long-term management and storage of elemental mercury, but will still store mercury at WCS under a legal settlement.
