EPA Proposes Approval of New Mexico Underground Injection Control Program Revisions

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed approval of the State of New Mexico's revisions to its Underground Injection Control (UIC) program for Class I injection wells, which will remove a ban on these wells and establish new regulations for safe management of hazardous waste disposal wells.
