SEC Announces Joint Industry Plan for Consolidated Equity Market Data

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has filed a National Market System Plan with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) to consolidate equity market data, as part of its Joint Industry Plan (JIP) to improve market efficiency and transparency.
