DOE Extends Public Comment Period for Energy Conservation Standards for Residential Furnaces and Commercial Water Heaters

The Department of Energy (DOE) is extending the public comment period for its proposed interpretive rule on energy conservation standards for residential furnaces and commercial water heaters until November 9, 2020, following competing requests from various stakeholders.
