National Eye Institute to Grant Exclusive Patent License to Connectyx Technologies for Metformin Treatment

The National Eye Institute, part of the National Institutes of Health, is considering granting an exclusive patent license to Connectyx Technologies to develop a direct ocular administered formulation of metformin for treating retinal degenerative diseases in humans.
