FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. Models PC-12 and PC-12/47

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has adopted a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. Models PC-12, PC-12/45, PC-12/47, and PC-12/47E airplanes, prompted by mandatory continuing airworthiness information (MCAI) from another country regarding improperly manufactured horizontal stabilizer rear attachment bolts that could lead to fatigue failure and loss of airplane control.
