FMCSA Renews Exemptions for 18 Hard of Hearing and Deaf Drivers

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has announced its decision to renew exemptions for 18 individuals from the hearing requirement in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs) for interstate commercial motor vehicle (CMV) drivers, allowing them to continue operating CMVs in interstate commerce.
