EPA Grants Exemption for Thiamine Mononitrate in Pesticide Products

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has established an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of thiamine mononitrate, a vitamin B1 ingredient used as an inert ingredient in pesticide products applied to crops pre-harvest, allowing up to 0.1% by weight in formulations.
