NMFS Makes Preliminary Determination on Exempted Fishing Permit Application for Commercial Lobster Fishing in Gulf of Maine

The Assistant Regional Administrator for Sustainable Fisheries, Greater Atlantic Region, NMFS, has deemed an Exempted Fishing Permit application sufficient for further review, allowing commercial fishing vessels to participate in a cod sampling survey during lobster trips, in accordance with the Magnuson-Stevens Act.
