U.S. Navy Regulations for Marine Mammal Taking Incidental to Training Activities

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Fisheries (NMFS) has issued regulations for the U.S. Navy to minimize the impact on marine mammals during its training activities in the Northwest Training and Testing Study Area, as mandated by the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA) and the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2004 (2004 NDAA).
