HUD Offers Expedited Relief from Public Housing and Section 8 Requirements for Families Affected by Presidentially Declared Major Disasters

During CY 2020 and CY 2021, HUD is providing expedited review of requests for relief from HUD requirements for Public Housing Agencies in counties affected by Presidentially declared Major Disaster Declarations, allowing them to waive certain requirements and receive assistance for families impacted by these disasters.
