Bureau of Transportation Statistics to Reinstates Confidential Close Call Transit Data Collection for Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority

The Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) is requesting the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to reinstate a previously approved data collection for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), which aims to improve the transit system by analyzing close calls and unsafe occurrences.
