U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Announces Threatened Species Status for Frecklebelly Madtom and Designation of Critical Habitat

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has decided not to list the frecklebelly madtom as an endangered or threatened species, but will list a distinct population segment in the Upper Coosa River in Georgia and Tennessee, and designate critical habitat for this segment.
