USDA Amends National List of Allowed and Prohibited Substances for Organic Crops

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has finalized a rule to update the National List of Allowed and Prohibited Substances, adding sulfurous acid and revising the annotation for tetracycline, in response to recommendations from the National Organic Standards Board (NOSB) submitted in 2008 and 2009.
