Medicare Program Expands Prior Authorization Model for Non-Emergent Ambulance Transports

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is expanding the Prior Authorization Model for Repetitive, Scheduled Non-Emergent Ambulance Transports nationwide, but delaying its implementation in additional states due to the ongoing COVID-19 Public Health Emergency.
