The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has issued an interim final rule to clarify the definition of 'any agricultural commodity,' 'livestock,' and 'non-processed food' for the purposes of its Hours of Service (HOS) of Drivers regulations, aiming to ensure exemptions are used as Congress intended.
