Transportation Intermediaries Association Petition for Rulemaking Concerning Property Broker Transaction Records and Regulatory Guidance Concerning Dispatch Services

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is seeking public comments on a Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA) petition for rulemaking that would allow parties to review records of brokered transactions and provide regulatory guidance on dispatch services, which TIA believes would help distinguish between dispatch services and authorized brokers in the current market.
