Federal Permitting Council Proposes to Add Mining as a Sector for FAST-41 Coverage

The Federal Permitting Improvement Steering Council (Permitting Council) is proposing to add mining as a sector for infrastructure projects eligible for coverage under Title 41 of the Fixing America's Surface Transportation Act (FAST-41), which would allow qualified mining infrastructure projects to benefit from improved environmental review and authorization processes.
