Qualification of Drivers; Exemption Applications; Vision

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has received applications from three individuals seeking exemptions from the vision requirement in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs) to operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) in interstate commerce. These exemptions, if granted, would allow the individuals to drive CMVs without meeting the vision requirement in one eye.
