Coast Guard Issues Certificates of Alternative Compliance for Vessels with Special Construction or Purpose

The US Coast Guard has announced that it has issued certificates of alternative compliance to vessels that cannot fully comply with international collision prevention regulations without compromising their design and construction, in order to promote marine safety.
