HUD Adopts New Safe Harbors for Fair Housing Act Design and Construction Requirements

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has amended its Fair Housing Act design and construction regulations to incorporate the International Code Council's Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities standard as a safe harbor, and designated the 2009, 2012, 2015, and 2018 editions of the International Building Code as safe harbors.
