FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for Pratt & Whitney Turbofan Engines

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Pratt & Whitney Division turbofan engines, requiring removal and replacement of damaged or failed 3rd stage low-pressure turbine (LPT) duct segments to address an unsafe condition.
