FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Safran Helicopter Engines Turboshaft Engines

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has proposed a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Safran Helicopter Engines' Arriel 2C, 2C1, 2S1, and 2S2 turboshaft engines, following investigations into minor anomalies and failures, including cracks found on soldered joints of torque conformation boxes.
