National Environmental Policy Act Implementing Procedures for the Bureau of Land Management (516 DM 11)

The Department of the Interior has announced new procedures for the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) for harvesting dead or dying trees, known as 'salvage harvests', following biotic or abiotic disturbances. The new procedures are outlined in Chapter 11 of Part 516 of the Departmental Manual.
