Boeing 777-9 Airplane to Feature Overhead Flightcrew Rest Compartment During Taxi, Takeoff, and Landing

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued special conditions for the Boeing 777-9 airplane, which will have an overhead flightcrew rest compartment that can be occupied during taxi, takeoff, and landing, addressing safety concerns not covered by existing airworthiness standards.
