U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Announces 12-Month Finding on Monarch Butterfly Listing

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has determined that listing the monarch butterfly as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act is warranted, but not currently possible due to higher priority actions, and will develop a proposed rule at a later time.
