U.S. Department of Agriculture and Food and Drug Administration to Host Public Meeting on Veterinary Drug Residues in Food

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Office of the Acting Under Secretary for Food Safety, in collaboration with the Food and Drug Administration's Center for Veterinary Medicine, is hosting a public meeting on August 16, 2010, to gather public comments on agenda items and draft U.S. positions for the 19th Session of the Codex Committee on Residues of Veterinary Drugs in Foods, scheduled for Burlington, Vermont, from August 30-September 3, 2010.
