FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Boeing 777-300ER Series

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has proposed a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Boeing 777-300ER series airplanes to address a design flaw that could allow halon and smoke to escape from the aft cargo compartment in the event of a fire.
