USDA Revises Domestic Sugar Program for 2022 Crop, Allocates Cane Sugar and Beet Processor Resources

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is issuing a notice to revise State cane sugar allotments, reallocate company resources to sugar beet and sugar cane processors, and reassign some cane sugar marketing allotments to raw cane sugar imports already anticipated, affecting domestic beet and cane sugar marketed for human consumption in the United States from October 1, 2021, through September 30, 2022.
