Southern Nuclear Operating Company, Inc. Receives NRC Exemption for Vogtle Electric Generating Plant Unit 3

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has granted an exemption to Southern Nuclear Operating Company, Inc. to deviate from certification information in the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant (VEGP) Unit 3 design control document, allowing for changes to the plant's operation as part of License Amendment No. 182.
