NextEra Energy Duane Arnold, LLC to Reopen Public Comment Period for Duane Arnold Energy Center Post-Shutdown Decommissioning Activities Report

NextEra Energy Duane Arnold, LLC has been asked by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to provide additional comments on its post-shutdown decommissioning activities report (PSDAR) for the Duane Arnold Energy Center (DAEC). The NRC has reopened the public comment period for a second time to allow more time for public input and to schedule an in-person meeting once the Coronavirus Disease 2019 public health emergency restrictions are lifted.
