US Nuclear Regulatory Commission to Consider Approvals for Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station

The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission is considering issuing approvals for NorthStar Nuclear Decommissioning Co., LLC to dispose of low-activity radioactive wastewater from the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station, and for US Ecology Idaho to receive byproduct radioactive materials without a license.
