NRC Considers Amendments to Salem Nuclear Generating Station License

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is considering amendments to the operating license of the Salem Nuclear Generating Station, Unit No. 2, owned by PSEG Nuclear, LLC, to update Technical Specification actions for rod position indicators. This change is necessary to support maintenance on the transformer supplying power to the rod position indicators during the current operating cycle.
