U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Proposes Rule to Certify NuScale Small Modular Reactor Design

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is proposing to amend its regulations to certify the NuScale standard design for a small modular reactor, allowing applicants to construct and operate the design by referencing this certification rule, which is being sought by NuScale Power, LLC.
