NRC Amends Spent Fuel Storage Regulations for NAC-UMS Universal Storage System

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has updated its regulations to include Amendment No. 8 to Certificate of Compliance No. 1015 for the NAC International NAC-UMS Universal Storage System, allowing for the storage of damaged boiling-water reactor spent fuel and revising technical specifications.
