NRC Proposes Amendment to Spent Fuel Storage Regulations for NAC-UMS Universal Storage System

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission is proposing to update its regulations for storing spent nuclear fuel, specifically the NAC International NAC-UMS Universal Storage System, to include damaged fuel from boiling-water reactors and expand storage capacity for certain types of fuel.
