Revision of Fee Schedules; Fee Recovery for Fiscal Year 2021

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has delayed the effective date of a final rule amending its regulations on user fees and annual fees, originally set for August 16, 2021, to August 20, 2021, to comply with the Congressional Review Act. The rule aims to implement the Nuclear Energy Innovation and Modernization Act, which requires the NRC to recover 100% of its annual budget, minus certain exclusions, starting with fiscal year 2021.
