Exelon Generation Company, LLC Receives U.S. NRC Exemption for Emergency Measures at Byron Station

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has granted Exelon Generation Company, LLC an exemption to temporarily suspend security measures at Byron Station, Unit Nos. 1 and 2, during severe weather or emergency conditions, pending certification of permanent fuel removal and operations cessation.
