NRC Grants Exemption to SNC for VEGP Units 3 and 4

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is granting an exemption to Southern Nuclear Operating Company, Inc. (SNC) to deviate from Tier 1 certification information for the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant (VEGP) Units 3 and 4, allowing for changes to License Amendment Nos. 188 and 186. This exemption is issued concurrently with the amendment, which was also approved for the VEGP Units 3 and 4, located in Burke County, Georgia.
