U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Approves Renewal of Spent Fuel Storage Cask Certificate

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has confirmed the effective date of January 19, 2022, for a direct final rule that renews the initial certificate and Amendment No. 1 of Certificate of Compliance No. 1021 for an additional 40 years, following a direct final rule published on November 5, 2021.
