U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Grants Exemption to Holtec Decommissioning International for Palisades Nuclear Plant Decommissioning

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has granted Holtec Decommissioning International an exemption to withdraw funds from the Palisades Nuclear Plant Decommissioning Trust Fund for spent fuel management and site restoration activities without prior notification, pending the transfer of license and operating authority to Holtec International.
